EventJolie — Meet Better People
The problem
You walk into a room with 100 interesting people.
You know three of them.
The person who could change your evening
may be standing ten metres away.

Traditional event apps give you a directory. Job titles. Company names. Maybe filters. They still leave you to figure out who actually matters.

EventJolie starts with intent:
"What are you actually trying to get out of this event?"

How it works

Four steps. One conversation.

1

Tell Jolie what you want

Share what you're looking for and what you can offer. Jolie listens.

"I'm looking for developers and investors."
2

Jolie understands the room

She combines live event intent with what attendees can offer — not just bios.

3

Get your best matches

Ranked by reciprocal value, not keyword overlap.

"Gabriel is a backend developer. He's looking to meet founders building AI products."
4

Find them and start talking

Jolie tells you what they look like and gives you a conversation starter.

"Pink shirt, near the stage. Ask him whether voice notes over two minutes count as podcasts."
Built and tested live in Valencia

From "I don't know who to talk to" to a real introduction.

At AI Tinkerers Valencia, we tested EventJolie with the actual people in the room. Jolie helped identify Gabriel as someone worth meeting — then helped find him physically at the event.

01Ask Jolie who you need.
02Jolie finds the strongest match.
03She tells you how to find them.
04You meet in real life.

The match doesn't end on a screen. It ends with two people talking.

Why it works

Useful beats similar.

EventJolie doesn't match you with people like you. It matches you with people who have what you need — and need what you have.

You

Need Backend developer
Offer Startup + investment perspective

Gabriel

Need Founders & projects
Offer Backend engineering
Strong match
Opportunity Someone whose offer unlocks something you didn't think to look for.
Connector A person who bridges you to the right introduction.
Wildcard A less obvious but interesting conversation you wouldn't have had otherwise.
The origin

Born at a hackathon.
Tested on the spot.

EventJolie started at the AI Tinkerers hackathon in Valencia. The founder arrived with a problem he'd experienced at networking events over and over: a room can be full of exactly the people you want to meet, but you have no idea who they are.

Before the hackathon even started, the first challenge was finding the right people in the room to build the project with.

That became the product itself.

Instead of another attendee directory, the idea was simple: what if you could tell an AI "There are too many people here. I don't know who to talk to" — and it could answer "Go meet these three."

The team then built and tested EventJolie on the attendees around them during the hackathon.

EventJolie character
For event organizers

Better events start with better introductions.

Event organizers already bring the right people into the room. EventJolie helps those people actually find each other.

More meaningful introductions between attendees
Less awkward networking, more real conversations
Stronger attendee experience from the same guest list
A conversational interface attendees already understand
Good to know

What Jolie is — and isn't.

Jolie is

  • A guide to the room
  • An introduction layer
  • Intent-aware
  • Conversational

Jolie is not

  • A dating app
  • Facial recognition
  • A social popularity score
  • Another endless attendee directory
EventJolie uses only information attendees choose to make discoverable for the event.

Stop networking randomly.

Meet the people you came for.
